The Miss Jones Jazz Band
It has always been a dream of mine to have my own band and The Miss Jones Jazz Band made this a reality for me back in 2015. We are made up of five fun, loving, wonderful and professional individuals who are all musical experts in our field.
The Miss Jones Jazz Band specialise in the sounds of jazz and swing from 1930's-60's, with a slight influence of the old American rhythm and blues. We have an eclectic mix of vintage music that appeals to all audiences, young and old, and can be enjoyed as quiet background music at your event, or as an aid to get your guests up on their feet! Either way, we always remain true to the empathy, rawness, sophistication and elegance of the music we perform.
We absolutely love taking our audiences on a journey performing songs from the likes of Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Eta James; giving them a charming experience that brings everyone together and allows them to leave their worries at the door.
We are the perfect accompaniment to any event that requires elegance and sophistication. We typically perform at corporate events, private parties, festivals, dance evenings and themed events.

Gin and Jazz with The Miss Jones Jazz Band!
We now run our own Jazz evenings, bringing the best partnership together in Gin & Jazz. It is an evening filled with fun and swinging Jazz, complete with authentic local Jive and Lindy Hop dancers too.
We held our first ‘Gin and Jazz with The Miss Jones Jazz Band’ evening in September 2019 and had near to 90 people in attendance- it was a huge success! So we will be looking to hold another very soon; all will be announced on both our website and our Facebook page, so keep a look out!
A HUGE thank you to Mally’s Gin Bar who provided us with the most amazing gin cocktails at our first event. We would definitely recommend them!
Due to the COVID restrictions we may have to wait a little longer until our next physical Gin and Jazz event. However, in the meantime we have just lunched A Virtual Gin and Jazz Experience happening via Zoom with the wonderful Mally’s Gin Bar. For details, check out the event page here.
